WAY OUT WEST TREKS AND TOURS
Mountain or tandem bikes will be deliver to The Cactus Quail and mounted on your car so that you may ride through the many scenic desert trails in the Sahuaro National Monuments and Sabino Canyon. You may also opt to take a personalized guided hike or bike tour through the hundreds of miles of trails right out our back door! Learn much about the artifacts of the area, legends, history, wildlife and vegetation. For all of these options, you will be provided with a hydro pack and a snack pack.

HIGH DESERT ADVENTURES JEEP TOURS
Your guide will either pick you up at The Cactus Quail, or you can meet them closer to the area where you will be exploring, which is just south of Tucson. They offer a personalized half-day tour of several ghost towns located in beautiful rolling ranch lands in the Patagonia Mountains. You may also choose the full day tour, which starts in Tombstone and takes you into the Dragoons (spectacular rock formations) and the famous Cochise Stronghold Mountain Park. You will learn much about the turbulent Apache Indian wars in the 1800's and will have an opportunity to visit the 1858 Butterfield Stage Stop, a Spanish presidio built in the 1700's, and much more.

PATAGONIA WILDLIFE SANCUARY
Birding is best right out the back door of The Cactus Quail, as well as this and many other famous birding locals in the surrounding area. We would be glad to arrange the right trip for you!

PUSCH RIDGE STABLES
Our neighbor's down-the-road-a-piece (1/2 mile), offer hourly and full day horseback rides through picture perfect western scenery

THE SONOITA STEAK OUT
Great steaks, margaritas and live country western music on weekends! This is a wonderful way to end the perfect day of shopping in the quaint artist community of Tubac, or bargain hunting in nearby Nogales, our South-of-the-border neighbors. Also a must on this trip are the San Xavier and Tumacocori Missions!

CATALINA HIGHWAY
This trip offers you an amazing variety of environments, from the saguaro-studded landscape of the desert floor, to the thick pine forest at an elevation of over 9000 feet. Famous homemade pies and delicious food await you at the Mt. Lemmon Café!
